PlantShare.com is a wonderful way to give plants from one’s yard a second life. These are plants that might have ended up in a yard “waste” bin as a result of thinning for overgrowth or making room for something new. On PlantShare.com one can find a partner to share a plant, become acquainted with new plants, get information on known plants, find a club with common interest to join, connect with your community, meet new neighbors and more.

I can't believe how many plants you've shared with me!!!! Amazing. I will work on getting the neighbors involved next week, they have a great garden and I think they will be sharing some plants as well. They've already offered to me, but I haven't seen what they have to offer. My garden is fairly new as I just moved to our house about a year ago, but I already have a few things that I'd like to offer up. You've done a terrific job of organizing the site. When would be a good time to come dig?

PlantShare provides a lot of information on plants with very user friendly (in plain language) plant profiles. LOVE this. Setting up "My Plants" easily enables me to build a personal catalog of plants that I would love to have in my garden, as well as communicate to other plant enthusiasts the plants that I am willing to share/exchange with them.I can easily set up the 'meet ups' where I can share plants using the chat feature. Great!

I know Dina, she is a founder of PlantShare, she is talented woman who created this unique platform. Her mission and vision are not only plants, but growing a community! Go to PlantShare if you want to share or get plants.

I’m blown away by the plant-share.com website. From “planting” a garden (in a personal profile) to offering plants to share locally and listing ones I’d love to receive, this idea is sure to take root & blossom -literally - through out the country and beyond. The sharing process is well thought out, expanding on the “Little Library” neighborhood concept. One of my favorite features of the site is the blog… stories and writing style are so fun, engaging, and full of surprises! The ever-growing library of plant profiles holds a treasure trove of horticultural wisdom and allows members to add to this knowledge or even create new plant profiles. This is a great place to learn, share, and be entertained whi appreciating nature’s abundance.

Finding PlantShare Kiosk #10 on my neighbor’s front yard totally made my day. I'm happy to buy one. Love the story & how it's helped build neighborhood. I already have own informal heap of succulent clippings set out in front right now with a "Take Me" sign, and usually they're gone within a few days, even though I'm on a cul-de-sac.Thank you for all your work in making this a green and friendly world.
