PlantShare® is a community-driven ecosystem for plant lovers and gardeners of all skill levels. The platform operates on a gift-economy model: neighbors freely share homegrown plant cuttings, divisions, and seeds with one another, host and join local Meet-Ups for in-person swaps, connect in regional clubs, play botanical trivia games, and discover plants suited to their specific climate zone.

Lots of ways! First, our “Plant Profiles” contains growing conditions and mature size to help with garden design, fun tips for cutting flowers, and more. Icons in each "Plant Profile" are easy to read at a glance, and, because they are curated by plant experts, you can trust what you see there. Second, online 1:1 chats give you control over the event and with whom you share. "Profile & Preferences" gives you control of your personal information.

Unlike a weekend event, we’re here anytime day or night you want to arrange a meet-up or schedule one sometime in the future, e.g., when it’s the right season to divide the plants. AND “Meet-ups” are at a convenient time and place because you and your “Share Partner” personally arrange it in a private chat.

“My Plants” – your own personal, online collection of plants. It is an invaluable tool that you can access 24/7 for winter planning, spring planting, summer projects and fall pruning. Growing conditions, photos, “Tips, Tricks & Other Fun” and links to interesting sites are right there in the PS “Plant Profile”. Customize “My Garden” with personal planting notes, photos, reminders and connections to each “Share Partner” you’ve chosen. It’s private, and it’s all yours.
