      • The value of PlantShare Coin, “P$C”, is based on our proprietary database of the average retail price (in USD$) of each size of each plant in The PlantShare Catalog compiled from 435 of sites on the World Wide Web.
      • Like used clothing, the value of a home-grown plant is roughly half (50%) that of a plant sold by a retail plant nursery.
      • Click the “Pricing Table” tab in any Plant Profile to:
        • compare the average retail price for all sizes of that plant.
        • find the date when the average retail price was last updated.
        • see the regional exchange rate for converting USD$ to P$C.
      • The current value of any home-grown plant of any size in P$C is determined by the exchange rate in your region or community.
      • Exchange rates are based on the current, average retail value of plants sold in retail plant nurseries in the USA (see above).
      • Exchange rates are adjusted quarterly.
      • Like any currency, the higher the demand for our services, the higher the exchange rate between USD$ and P$C.
      • Regional exchange rates are calculated based on a proprietary mathematical model that dynamically measures the:
        • number of users in a community.
        • number of plants in user accounts.
        • number of MeetUps created, started & reviewed.
        • activity in a community.
        • revenue generated from Our Shop by that community.
        • number & activities of vendors and businesses in that region.
      • P$C come in several denominations: 1, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 P$C.
      • Common P$C are subject to increase or decline in value depending on the exchange rate.
      • Forever P$C never lose value, just like a Forever Stamp from the USPS or a manufacturer’s coupon.
      • Promotional P$C have an expiration date after which they have no value, just like a store promotional coupon.
      • Special P$C are issued from time-to-time that will behave differently than any other type of game coin. Rules for the behavior of Special P$C will be announced on issue.
      • PlantShare Coin, P$C, are auto deposited & debited to your account whenever you use or earn P$C.

      • Accept home-grown plants from another user, your PS Partner, in a verified exchange as determined by your mutual reviews of the MeetUp.
      • Move down on The PS Leaderboard.
      • Buy a “Climate Change Mitigator Badge” with your P$C.
      • Friends, family and neighbors you invite to sign-up, subscribe or purchase from Our Shop will be awarded P$C when their email address is verified.
      • You will be awarded P$C when:
        • someone you refer verifies their email address.
        • you gift one of our products & services.
